The Coach House ( detached, sleeps 2 )

The Coach House is a luxury
two-person self catering holiday cottage beautifully located in Northumberland National Park, just 14 miles from Alnwick. Most unusually for a coach house of its period, it is detached, linked
only by its porch wall. Combining the ambiance of a bygone era with outstanding quality and comfort with all the conveniences of modern day living, it is a romantic and enchanting 18th century
property. This is a
large 2 person luxury holiday cottage sympathetically converted to create a cosy cottage with a friendly atmosphere that is perfectly suited for two people
and, with the living area measuring over 32 feet (9.60 metres), larger than most two person holiday cottages.

Entering through the half-stable door into an entrance lobby, you are led into the fully equipped kitchen / dining area. The spacious lounge features beautiful exposed beams and stripped
old pine floors, a wood-burning stove in a stone fireplace, two-seater settee and leather club armchair together with wall mounted 37 inch flat-screen television and DVD. The working
shuttered windows and upholstered window seats overlook the horse paddock. Outside the front door is a sheltered paved corner with two chairs and also a choice of seating areas on the
rectory lawns.
A galleried bedroom on the first floor features quaint shuttered arched windows, north and south facing, and a sloping pine ceiling. A choice of twin beds or a super-king-size bed is
available, together with fluffy white towels and bathrobes. The bathroom has an electric shower over the bath, shaver point, heated towel rail and airing cupboard.
