Dovecote
is a luxury self catering holiday cottage beautifully located in Northumberland National Park, just 14 miles
from Alnwick. This luxuriously appointed cottage, especially designed for two persons, faces south and affords fine
views over the lawn, courtyard and the hills beyond; to the north, it looks towards St Michaels, an 11th century church.
The cottage offers exceptional holiday accommodation and an interior styled to the highest quality standards.
The
hand-painted kitchen boasts 'rosso' granite tops and a circular sink. Half-stable doors lead from the kitchen into the
lounge, the character of which is is defined by polished ceiling beams and wide oak floor boarding. It is furnished
with a bespoke English settee and leather armchair. A large glass door opens on to the south-facing patio and lawn.
The king bedroom, finished with classical white French furniture, has beautiful views through the original dovecote
openings. The luxury tiled ensuite bathroom / wc has a double-ended oriental bath and comes with fluffy white towels
and bathrobes.
