This is a stunning detached self-catering holiday cottage constructed in the traditional Northumbrian style using local stone and antique bricks. On entering, you will experience the sense of a bygone age caught up in the modern era. Honeysuckle is a romantic holiday cottage packed with period features and detail to make your stay one of luxury self-catering country living.

The ground floor offers a well-equipped and spacious kitchen with an adjoining morning room (over 26 x 15 ft), both with natural pine floorboards and exposed ceiling beams. Patio doors lead to the cottage's secluded, fully enclosed garden, equipped with teak garden furniture - ideal for those relaxing moments or family meals al fresco.

The wonderfully light sitting room, equipped with a 40 inch flat-screen television and DVD, commands spectacular views from all five seated windows. A log-burning stove stove stands in an antique brick fireplace, creating a beautiful centrepiece in the room and generating a cosy atmosphere. There is also an entrance hall and shower room with wc.

On the first floor, there is a large king bedroom that features a tall arched window looking out over the marvellous countryside. The second large bedroom is twin-bedded with carved pine beds.

A charming feature of Honeysuckle Cottage is the superb Victorian bathroom, complete with porcelain floor tiling and slipper bath and working ornate cast iron log-burning fireplace.
